Harmonious Hellos! We have another MEGA UPDATE for you!

We've got Major news to share! Major good news - we're in the Coda (end) section of the project now, which means the game is coming soon! + we added a new thing - but we also have minor bad news. *epic V-vi moment (deceptive cadence)* We need you to open up your wallets again if you want the new thing we added! (that's the bad news.) Completely optional thing though! No pressure. So what's up?!

We know you must have many questions, so here are the answers!

What the Bach is going on??

Well, we felt like we had to design this big box to house the piano box + all the other game components, because when we took Lord of the Chords to retailers and distributors, they told us that a piano-shaped box sitting on their shelves would never sell - because no one would know what the bell it was. Makes sense...

Will this retail box come free with what I ordered?

No, it will not be free D: You're going to have to pay for it, if you want it.

WHY. Haven't we already given you enough money?! Do we look like Gershwin to you? You're aware that we ARE MUSICIANS, right? (yes I went there ok sorry definitely went too far)

We are aware that you're musicians, that you're not Gershwins, and yes, you have already given us enough money! That's why this retail box top-up is completely optional. The reason why we have to charge to provide it is because the box is HUGE! And it had to be huge (30cm x 30cm x 7cm, or 11.81" x 11.81" x 2.75") because for some reason, that makes it easier to spot in a shop, understand the art and text on the back of the box, and therefore to buy it! Which means the bigger the box, the more people out there will have fun with music theory! Also the real reason:

Because the box is so big, the increase in material cost and shipping cost makes it prohibitively expensive for us to provide it to all backers for free.

What will happen to the piano box?

Everything that was promised during the campaign will still get to you! If you add the retail box to your order, you'll receive everything as expected, including the piano box, just that it will all come inside the big box. Yes, you will get your piano box (with the game, of course) WITHIN the retail box.

How much is it, and how do I add it to my order?

It'll be $9 USD (shipping cost is included). Instructions below:

3) On the Extras Tab, "Retail Box" should be the first Extra that you see. Click "Add to Purchase"

Click through to the end of the survey until you get to the "Congratulations" page, and you're done!

As we're heading into the Coda for production, we can't prioritise this very time-consuming task of getting the refunds back to you folks, but rest assured that we'll get it done in a month from now!
